Dr. Thuy Ngo, O.D.

Dr. Ngo is a primary eye care doctor who provides comprehensive eye examination for adults and children alike. She is fully licensed in the state of Arizona to prescribe therapeutic medication, prescription glasses and contact lenses.

Dr. Ngo received her Bachelor of Science degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from San Diego State University in 2006. She went on to obtain her Optometric Doctorate in 2010 from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. During her program, Dr. Ngo along with her colleagues, and other optometrists participated in three mission trips to Central and South America where they provided eye care to the underprivileged and underserved populations of Barranquilla, Columbia, Los Mochis, Mexico, and Belmopan, Belize. She completed her optometric externships at the Mike O'Callaghan Federal Hospital at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada, InVision Eye Care in San Diego, California and The Eye Center Clinic in Memphis, Tennessee.

Dr. Ngo is an active member of the American Optometric Association and Arizona Optometric Association.

Dr. Ngo was born in Saigon, Vietnam and is bilingual in English and Vietnamese. She was raised in San Diego, California. She worked at Lens Crafters in Yuma before joining Corona Optique in February 2011. In her free time, she enjoys running, snowboarding, hiking, and visiting her family and friends in San Diego. Dr. Ngo is new to Yuma but hopes to make it her home away from home.
