Retinal Photography

Retinal photos are an addition test ordered by the doctor to help confirm the diagnosis of specific intra-ocular diseases. These diseases include: macular degeneration, glaucoma, retinal detachments or tears, diabetic retinopathy, hypertension retinopathy, central retinal vein occlusion, central retinal artery occlusions, retinal pigmentosa, and optic stokes. For best results you should be dilated for this portion of the exam. There is no need to wait for results; our digital camera gives us the images within seconds for review.
