Dr. Leah C. Mallinger provides primary care examinations for all ages. She also diagnoses, treats and manages ocular disease as well as dry eye syndrome and contact lens examinations.

Dr. Mallinger graduated in 2004 from San Diego Christian College earning her Bachelors of Science in Human Biology and received her Doctorate of Optometry from Southern California College of Optometry in 2008. Dr. Mallinger spent her internships training at the Wellish Vision Institute in Las Vegas, NV, the Veterans Administration Eye Clinic in Amarillo, TX, and the Bethesda Naval Hospital Eye Clinic in Bethesda , MD. She has volunteered on multiple international medical missions, organizing and running mobile eye care clinics in South America and Africa from 2005 to present.

Born and raised in nearby Imperial Valley, she and her husband are recent transplants to Yuma by way of San Diego, and she looks forward to becoming involved in the Yuma community and making it home.

In their free time, her and her husband enjoy camping, hiking, surfing and playing with their dog Jep.
